Burning Man 2006
Check out my photos!
Something I learned this year post-playa is that the best thing about relationships is the moment to moment of the experience. Really it's all the moments you share that make up any relationship.
And while moments are fleeting, I'm learning how important it is to cherish every one.
I'm also learning a lot about letting go... not having attachments and not having expectations. It's just one of those lessons that comes up again and again for me.
I had such an amazing time at Burning Man again this year. Each time I return to Black Rock City, it's as if I never left, like all that time in between disappears magically somehow. The playa feels so much like home to me. There's nothing in the world I love more than riding my bike across the Black Rock Desert.... going where the wind takes me, even when it takes me half way across the playa inside a giant waffle during a dust storm... or perhaps to the middle of a field of glowing sunflowers... or maybe to a giant flaming serpent exploding with fireworks.... or a psychedelic cathedral of bad ass dj's laying down the sermon of bass.
Did I mention I'm in love? I'm in love with myself. I'm in love with life.
And maybe my light burns too bright sometimes. And you know what? I'm just going to keep on shining, bright as possible, always and forever.

Hi, Helen, como estas? Glad to find you have fallen in Love, you are defiantly a wonderful person and you should be so lucky you found love within your self. It's easy to find Love outside in others when you have Love inside for yourself. The most difficult aspect is remembering it all the time, it's kind of like trying to smile all day long, a task more daunting than one might think. Indemendedenpiente, or something like that.
Hi Helen, Nice photos of BM as well as the other travels you have experienced. It was nice to talk with you today!
...please where can I buy a unicorn?
Unicorns are a dime a dozen. Keep looking, you'll find the perfect unicorn was there all along.
